Alumbaugh,
Director
Bret, his talented wife Kelly, and their son Derek stay
busy all summer long running the Sunny M Ranch. If his wife lets him
have a day off and he's not managing the Activities Shop, you'll find
Bret getting clients into the biggest rainbow trout of their lives on
Moccasin Lake. It's Bret's time to shine when the snow flies! As a PSIA
examiner, a fantastic teacher and a hot dog on teleboards, the winters
are never long enough!
Don
Portman
Don invented skiing here at Sun Mountain. If there's
anything you want to know about skiing, ask Don! He's a pretty good
photographer, too!
Kevin
Van Bueren
Nobody spins a better yarn than our own teller-of-tall-tales,
Kevin. His stories are only outdone by his first-class customer service.
Kevin shares his talents fishing with clients on Moccasin Lake and the
Methow River. He's the group events specialist and outdoor guru of the
North Cascades. At ease in the backcountry or explaining the dynamic
natural history of our area, Kevin is both a scholar and a gentleman.
Matt
Strauss
From leading trips into the Cascades to his fly fishing
trips on the Methow River, Matt is a man of many hats. Originally from
Portland, Matt and his bride Heather call the valley home now. If he's
not ripping teleturns in the backcountry, you might catch a glimpse
of him screaming down Pete's Dragon. Matt has too much fun, and definitely
has his priorities straight!
