Inspired by its magnificent natural setting and colorful history and culture, Sun Mountain Lodge truly imparts a sense of harmony with its surroundings. The main lodge and its guest accommodations seem to have been hewn from the mountain itself, with huge beams, wood ceilings and walls, a split-log bar, carved mantels and desk tops, and massive stone fireplaces. The resort boasts 102 mountaintop guest rooms and 13 lakeside cabins.

All resort rooms offer spectacular views, coffee makers, irons and ironing boards, robes and hairdryers. All guest rooms are television free. Most Lodge rooms have 2 queen beds, a few have kings. Lodge Deluxe rooms have king beds, wood burning fireplaces, sitting areas, and mini refrigerators. Gardner rooms have gas fireplaces, sitting areas, mini refrigerators and private decks. They provide a queen and twin bed or a queen and queen hideabed. Lodge and Gardner rooms have CD players. Mt. Robinson rooms all feature king beds, whirlpool tubs, sitting areas, refreshment centers, gas fireplaces and private decks.

Gardner Guest Rooms
Snuggle under a custom-designed quilt in a log-hewn bed and soak in the spectacular view of Mt. Gardner from your room. Bent willow chairs, fireplaces, sitting areas, private decks or patios, CD players, exposed beams and Northwest inspired artwork are just a few of the special touches designed to make your stay memorable.

Mt Robinson Guest Rooms
Our most spectacular rooms feature unbelievable views, fireplaces, refreshment centers, private decks, large sitting areas, locally crafted wood furnishings, handmade lamps and headboards, and whirlpool baths with views. Very gracious and luxurious rooms in the quietest of settings.

The Patterson Lake Cabins are located one and a half miles below Sun Mountain Lodge in a cottonwood grove on the lakefront. Eight one-room cabins accommodate up to four people each and offer a kitchenette, fireplace, a queen and a twin bed, full bath and deck. Cooking utensils are provided and housekeeping is offered daily. All cabins are telephone and television free.

If you are in need of larger accommodations, the original suite has two bedrooms, one full bath, a large kitchen, living room, and a wood-burning stove.

A beautiful park with children's play area and barbecue facilities are available for your enjoyment. Lakefront activities include rental rowboats, canoes, kayaks, paddleboats and sailboats, fishing, swimming, volleyball, horseshoes, badminton, hiking and mountain biking. In the winter months, we also offer one of the largest cross country ski trail systems in the U.S. The trails start right at your door.

Guests of the cabins, are welcome to enjoy all of the resort amenities
of Sun Mountain Lodge, including the restaurant, lounge, library, gift shop, exercise room, activities center, swimming pools, hot tubs, tennis courts and spa.
