Mountain Biking

Mountain bike rentals will be available in late spring once the snow is gone—probably around the first of May. Finely tuned front suspension bikes by Giant are available for rent by the hour or day. Due to high demand and limited inventory, reservations are highly recommended. Check with the Adventures Shop for the best routes. Download the TREAD Map and find other trail options. The knowledgeable Adventures staff has maps and trail riding suggestions for all abilities, from beginner to expert. The expansive trail system at Sun Mountain Lodge alone offers over 40 miles of single and double-track trails with great views of the Methow Valley and North Cascade Mountains. Beginners can pedal the nearly level scenic loop around Beaver Pond, while experts will thrill to the twisting, turning drops of Pete’s Dragon or Magpie. Whatever your ability, Sun Mountain Lodge has a mountain biking trail for you.

Boating & River Rafting

A variety of boating options are available throughout the Spring to Autumn seasons in the Methow Valley. One mile from the Lodge is Patterson Lake, open year-round for fishing. Grande Suite

Two Grande Suites sleep up to eight people with similar layouts to the loft suites and expanded living areas ideal for family and social gatherings. Loft Suite

The four Loft Suites have two bedrooms, 1 3/4 baths, full kitchen, dining and living area and gas burning stove, plus a lovely verandah. These suites sleep up to five people. There is a bedroom with a queen bed & bath upstairs, another bedroom with another bath downstairs, and a twin day bed in the living area.

Main Lodge Rooms

Lodge guestrooms feature either stunning views of the North Cascades or sweeping territorial views of the Methow Valley and the National Forest. A few Lodge Valley rooms have obstructed views. Our guestrooms are tastefully appointed with original artwork and hand-crafted wood furniture made by local artisans.

Mt Robinson Rooms

Our most spectacular rooms feature unbelievable views, gas fireplaces, wet bars, locally crafted wood furnishings, handmade lamps and headboards, and whirlpool baths with views. Upper-level rooms feature private balconies, and lower-level rooms feature a patio area. These are very gracious and luxurious rooms in the quietest of settings. All Mt. Robinson rooms have king beds.
