SUN MOUNTAIN LODGE IS OPEN!
Due to the hard work of the Forest Service, Methow Trails and our staff, the majority of our trail system is now open! It is easier to list the trails that will remain closed than to list the trails that are open.
Closed Trails – Aqualoop, Upper and Lower Fox, Upper Climb It, Upper Pete’s Dragon, Upper Inside Passage, Wild Turkey and the new Thompson Ridge trail. Thompson Ridge Road is now open to vehicle travel to the Twisp River Valley.
Mountain Biking – We will have mountain bike rentals available starting October 16th until early November, when we start setting up for winter.
Hiking – The Fall hiking will be glorious!
Rowboats will be available to rent through the end of October, weather permitting.
The Activity Shop will be open daily starting October 16th. We will close for a few days during the transition to winter in early to mid November. We anticipate sleigh rides starting December 11, snow conditions permitting.
Please visit the Methow Trails page for current information on the Methow Valley trail system.
