Inspired by the enduring beauty of nature, Sun Mountain Lodge reflects harmony with its surroundings down to the last detail. Nestled in the foothills of the North Cascade mountain range, the Methow Valley is the Northwest’s most popular destination recreation area. With each changing season, there are new sights to see, fun things to do and an ever-changing landscape to explore. Enjoy your stay!
Lodge guestrooms feature either stunning views of the North Cascades or sweeping territorial views of the Methow Valley and the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest. All of our guest rooms are tastefully appointed with original artwork and hand-crafted wood furniture made by local artisans.
Rustic elegance defines these guestrooms: log-hewn beds, bent willow furniture, seating areas with fireplaces, exposed timber beams. Take in the views from your own private patio or deck. Sleeping options include both king and queen beds coupled with twin daybeds.
The Mt. Robinson luxury guestrooms are our most elegant accommodations, featuring king beds, jetted bathtubs, separate seating areas, refreshment centers, gas fireplaces, private decks, and stunning views.
16 lakeside cabins offer air conditioning, full kitchens with microwaves & dishwashers, gas fireplaces, and large front porches overlooking the lake. A variety of cabin types sleep from 2 to 8 people.
Under the stewardship of our Executive Chef, Sun Mountain Lodge has fostered collaboration with local and regional growers and producers, thus setting the standard for the most inspired menus in Pacific Northwest cuisine.
A reverence for creating delicious food underscores every aspect of this dining experience. Respect for our outstanding community of growers and producers and a commitment to farm-to-table freshness has yielded award-winning accolades from the food industry, press, and most importantly, our guests. All with spectacular, sweeping views of the valley and Cascade Mountains.
Our family-friendly bar and grill serves up the finest locally-grown, hand-crafted beef, brews and delectables. Bartenders regularly create fresh and innovative cocktails for you to sip while enjoying incredible views from your table or deck seating.
Our award-winning wine cellar contains one of the most extensive resort wine collections in the Pacific Northwest: 3,500 bottles, over 275 labels from Washington State. The Wine Cellar is an excellent venue for a private dinner of up to 14 people.
To complement your event, we offer an inspired banquet menu featuring seasonal foods whenever possible. Although our menu is both varied and flexible, our Chef also enjoys working with groups to create custom menus, tailored to perfectly fit your tastes and needs.
