RESORT FEES
Sun Mountain Lodge charges a $23 per room per night resort fee. A portion of this fee goes to help support the Shafer Museum in Winthrop.
SUN MOUNTAIN LODGE INFRASTRUCTURE
Sun Mountain Lodge is unique in its location on a remote mountaintop. It’s like a small city: we have our own water plant and engineers, manage our own sewer system in conjunction with the town of Winthrop, and we maintain and snowplow our own roads. On the other hand, we also lack access to adequate electrical power that would allow us to place microwaves and televisions in all of our guest rooms. We do hope you can enjoy the free amenities such as the magnificent views, miles of open space, and the starlit skies at night.

ELECTRIC CAR CHARGING STATIONS
Sun Mountain Lodge now offers an electric car charging station for Sun Mountain Lodge overnight guests. Centrally located at the south end of the Gardner Building, the three chargers are under a small roof covering. Two Tesla chargers have been installed along with a Level II charger, a ClipperCreek, Inc. HCS model. The EV charging area is lit from dusk to dawn.
Two Tesla cars can charge at the station at the same time along with one non-Tesla car, ie. Prius, Chevy Volt, etc. There is no charge for guests to utilize the EV charging station and it will be available to our guests on a first-come, first-serve basis.

POOL AND HOT TUB
Sun Mountain Lodge has two outdoor heated swimming pools open during the summer season, and two smaller outdoor hot pools, open year-round. One is near the Lodge and the other is at the Mt. Robinson building.
THE GAME ROOM
For those rainy days or when you just feel like spending an afternoon in the Lodge, we have a Game Room equipped with pool tables, ping pong and foosball to appeal to all ages.
