The Methow Valley Nordic ski trails span the entire valley with three separate trail systems totaling 200 kilometers of inter-connected, precision groomed ski trails. Each distinctly different from the other, yet designed with the same purpose: To make sure this is the best winter vacation you’ll ever have.
SUN MOUNTAIN SKI TRAILS
The Sun Mountain trails offer the most diverse terrain available with something for everyone.You can ski right from your door on our trail system and enjoy 60 kilometers of pure fun. The Sun Mountain Ski School offers expert instruction for all levels of skate and classic skiing. An ideal winter destination for families to competitive skiers, and everyone in between!
OTHER VALLEY TRAILS
The Mazama trails cover flat and rolling terrain through farms and woodlands, making for scenic day tours, while the Rendezvous trail system caters to more advanced skiers with elevations climbing from 4,000 to 6,000 feet.
SNOW CONDITIONS & GROOMING
We anticipate skiing to be available through April 2, 2023, based on conditions. For current information about grooming and the best places to ski, check out the grooming report at www.methowtrails.org
SKI RATES
Trail Passes: $28 for one-day, $72 for multi-day pass (three days or more).
Passes are good for the entire Methow Valley trail system.
Trail Passes are required. Proceeds go to Methow Trails, a non-profit organization dedicated to building and maintaining the trail system.Children 17 years and under ski free!
PRIVATE SKI LESSONS
You pick the time, place and instructor. Private lessons are available for any level from beginner to racer.
One person: 30/60 minutes $50/$70
Two people: 30/60minutes $40/$55 (rates are per person)
Three people or more: 30/60 minutes $35/$50 (rates are per person)

EQUIPMENT RENTALS AT THE SKI SHOP
All equipment is top quality. Rental rates are the same for touring, skating or racing equipment and include short skis, mid-length skis and traditional length skis. Customers are welcome to try as many types as they wish at no additional cost. We have plenty of gear and we are happy to take advance reservations.
