Sleigh Rides

Sleigh Rides are up and running daily through March 5, 2023.  Sign up in the Ski Shop.

The fresh powder crunches under your boots as you walk out to join the group for the sleigh ride. The remaining clouds overhead are parting, revealing a brilliant blue sky. The wrangler tucks you into the sleigh under a thick , warm quilt and you’re off – gliding through the snow behind the massive draft horses, nose tingling in the crisp winter mountain air.

The cheerful jingle of the bell-covered harnesses drifts back to you as the horses trot in unison up the hill. As you round the corner and clear the top of the hill, a postcard-perfect vista of snow-covered mountains emerges in front of you. The sleigh glides down the back side of the hill, and you have arrived at your destination: an old-fashioned packer’s tent where you will be welcomed with a hot cup of cocoa.

Sleigh Ride

Offered daily. Includes a stop at the miner’s tent to take in the view and enjoy a cup of hot chocolate or hot cider.

Cost: $25 per person over age 13 years, $18 per child  5-12 years.  Children under 4 are free. Reservations please!

$60 minimum per sleigh ride.  Four hour advance notice of cancellation required.  If rides are cancelled with less than four hours notice participants will be charged full price of the ride.

Private Vis á Vis Sleigh Ride:  Snuggle up in the Pendleton wool blankets in our beautiful sleigh!  Includes stop at the miner’s tent to take in the view and enjoy a cup of hot chocolate or hot cider.  Holds up to 4  guests.

$150/ride for 1-2 guests,  $200/ride for 3-4 guests.

The sleigh is available for weddings and photo shoots for $250.  Reservations required.
