Twisp

Set in the foothills of the eastern Cascade Mountains, this lovely and gracious lodge is a wonderful destination. Trails abound, for hiking, mountain biking, cross-country skiing, horseback riding, depending on the season. There are miles of well-marked trail, of various degrees of difficulty. The rooms are roomy, comfortable, many with spectacular views; deer wander the well-maintained grounds.

Just spectacular. The whole stay was great from start to finish. The dining room, the service, the room, the hot tub, the mountain and the activities. We came for a mountain biking trip and just fell in love with the place. We wish we could have stayed longer.

There is no place else in the Methow where the views are more expansive and the air more crisp.
